Navigating is necessary, living is not necessary!
Said by the Roman general Pompey, around 70 BC, this phrase indicates the importance of precision and accuracy in navigation, in contrast to the unpredictability of life, always so full of surprises. And even today, more than two thousand years later, it resonates romantic, mysterious and challenging in the adventurous imagination of navigators. In that time, many things have changed, but accuracy and the use of intelligence continue to accompany, in an inalienable way, the evolution of the science and art of navigation.
Life remains imprecise. But navigating, today, is more than precise, more than exact. It is also practical, safe, comfortable and affordable, and can, in some cases, be very sophisticated. And it was in the name of practicality and sophistication that Jorge Ghinis, a water-loving businessman, developed the project of a boat that allows you to transport a jet ski inside, in a practical, safe and elegant way.
Jorge explains that the jet ski has become an important complementary accessory for navigation lovers. Just like the motorcycle on land, the jet ski offers practicality, speed and economy when traveling on water. However, for the owner of a small or medium-sized boat, transporting a jet is a lot of work; almost impossible.
But, for nautical technology, the impossible is just the beginning of a new challenge. So Jorge studied the problem from various aspects and developed the Articulated Engine Supports project. These are devices that allow the engines to be moved laterally, leaving the stern of the vessel free and facilitating access to the deck.
Jorge realized the importance of this innovative solution for the small and medium-sized vessel market. The idea evolved and gained the status of “invention”, when it was patented worldwide, by Dr. Jefferson C. Oliveira, director of BRAXIL, a company specialized in registering brands and patents, in Brazil and abroad.
With the patent secured, the businessman added his nautical experience to his visionary and entrepreneurial spirit and tried to transform the invention into a promising business. To do this, he hired the Australian company B & G YACHTS DESIGN to develop a project for a 33-foot boat, which would carry nothing less than a jet ski in its luggage.
The project was carried out by a Dutch company, specialized in work of this nature. And it was in the company’s workshop that the new boat concept was structured, gaining a compartment where a jet ski can be safely accommodated, protected by an elegant tilting lid, which moves automatically. Likewise, the vessel gained a roller track that allows the watercraft to be boarded with minimal effort.
Very happy with the result of his work and excited about the marketing possibilities of his invention, Jorge Ghinis is looking for investor partners for the series production of this new sophistication for the nautical industry. The businessman highlights that, in addition to being an excellent and promising business, the amount invested can be used to obtain the Startup VISA, in Portugal or to obtain the E2 visa, in the United States.
All this because “browsing is necessary…”!
